This week on the Diversified Wealth CREw podcast, we had the pleasure of having a conversation with Bernadeau Charles, who is a multifamily real estate syndicator & investor with a passion for identifying and analyzing value-add properties in the Florida market. He is the founder of Orlando REI, an organization in the central Florida market that helps beginning investors achieve their real estate goals
We discussed with Bernadeau the importance of underwriting, understanding your market, his take on mentorship, rent control and affordable housing. He currently has 118 units under management and within the last year has closed his first syndication deal as a general partner for 66-unit condo portfolio. His background as a system engineer has allowed him to use his analytical skill set to fast track his career in multifamily investing, becoming a go-to individual for investors when it comes to underwriting value-add multi-family properties.In addition to his work with Orlando REI, Bernadeau started a Multifamily Meetup in 2022, focusing solely on helping investors achieve financial freedom through multifamily investing.
