On this week's episode we have Patty Dowdy as our guest! Patty is a 2nd generation real estate professional who specializes in business brokerage and the retail sector of commercial real estate. Her brokerage career began in 2009 when she joined her dad’s business, National Restaurant Properties; which was a one-stop shop for anyone looking to buy, sell or lease a restaurant. It was here she learned anything and everything there was to know about business brokerage and retail real estate from a group of salty old men she still holds dear to her heart!
In 2021, Patty sold National Restaurant Properties and joined forces with Pedal Retail Advisors. Pedal brings expert guidance to independent retail businesses for whom real estate strategy is too important to get wrong. They operate out Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina and beyond those areas, they serve smart retailers with business consulting, business planning, retail real estate consulting and educational services to Main Street organizations, BIDs, and municipalities of all sizes!
